Working From Home Works!!

About six months ago (September 2005) I started looking on the web for ways to make money from home; I’m an online college student who has a lot of time on his hands. I was surprised to see so many different avenues of income possibilities; I quickly realized a lot of these programs were scams. I’m a young guy who was new to internet marketing; I fell for the get rich quick schemes and lost a couple hundred dollars.

We all hate loosing money but when you are going to school and not working that money becomes even more important. I was very depressed, but decided to not give up; once I realized I had to work hard and research what was out there, I began to see results. I became interested in finding a proven way to make money from home and then offer people the same opportunity. (more…)

Role Of E-Business In The New Economy

In context of the electronic revolution taking place in our economy we must recognize these changes take place in a larger economic context. Global competition, interest rates, laws and regulations, social concerns, industry traditions, consumer preferences etc., are all part of environment affecting business activities. Besides, electronic and non electronic businesses share available economic resources including natural resources, equipment, telecommunication employees’ skills etc. E-business, globalization and internet are interdependent. The more global players exist, the more business they want to do which will attract more people to get direct internet access. There are many categories of e-business such as e-commerce, e-marketing, e-mailing, e-auction, and e-supply and so on. The integration of these categories through internet enhances existing business or to create new virtual business.

E- business commonly referred to as “e-Business” or “e-business enable companies to link their internal and external data processing systems more efficiently and flexibly, to work more closely with suppliers and partners, and to better satisfy the needs and expectations of their customers. (more…)

Ways To Improve Your Company’s Operations

There are two ways to improve your company operations; through continuous improvement or through radical improvement.

(1) Incremental improvement: is the pursuit of improvements through a process of small, ongoing changes. This kind of improvement is associated with bottom-up, people driven continuous improvement. It is based on the belief that an organisation should never be satisfied, and should always seek to do better. Some of the techniques associated with incremental improvement include:

* quality circle-regular meetings of groups of workers to tackle quality problems and undertake improvement activities in their immediate work area. * Employee suggestion schemes- encouraging, recognising and rewarding employees for improving products and processes.

The continuous improvement approach suggests that employees have natural creativity that must be tapped into. It also acknowledges that the people who are closest to the organisation’s operating processes, the operation staff, generally know more about processes than anyone. (more…)
